  •

    Feel and Design

the Lenovo IdeaPad U410 is a super thin laptop while it measures 13.50 x 0.83 x 9.20 inches, the weight of it is 4.1 pounds which is not very heavy in other 14 inch laptops.the Graphite Gray cover black button just fill full of modern in the laptop’s feeling, the bad point is the keyboard is not back light. the 14 Inch screen comes with resolution of 1336 x 768 that makes the laptop very clear.

    Do you like the Performance

as the 3rd generation processor, there is no doubt that the Intel Core i5 3317U Processor has the great performance, but it is the Ultra Low Voltage Processor, so you can find the performance is between i3 2310m and 2330m, because the Voltage of this laptop is only 17w, That also makes the battery life can last 6 hours. We can’t miss the NVIDIA GeForce 610M Graphics which has the similar performance as GT520 and you can play some 3D games like need for Speed without any problems. the storage of 750GB HD is so large and don’t forget the 32GB SSD for boosting the speed, What’s more 8GB DDR3 is also very helpful when you playing games.

General Speaking, I really like the performance and price of Lenovo IdeaPad U410 43762BU, I think i got a good deal at amazon, I hope you like this review and share it on twitter too.

Archos launches Elements tablet lineup with Archos ...

French tablet maker Archos is introducing a new line of mid-range Android tablets. The Archos Elements line of tablets will be “entry-level” products which don’t have all the bells and whistles found in the company’s higher-priced tablets.

The first member of the Elements family is the Archos 97 Carbon, a tablet with a 9.7 inch, 1024 x 768 pixel IPS display and an aluminum case.

It has 1GB of RAM, 16GB of storage and a 1 GHz ARM Cortex-A8 processor. It ships with Google Android 4.0, and it’s a Google Certified device, which means it comes with the Play Store and other Google apps preloaded.

You can pick up an Archos 97 Carbon tablet for $230.

At that price, the tablet is a little more expensive than the $199 Google Nexus 7, but the Archos tablet has a larger display (and slower processor) than Google’s new tablet.

The Archos 97 Carbon also has a microSDHC card slot, mini HDMI port, and a 2MP rear camera — all features that are absent from Google’s tablet.

The Archos tablet also has a front-facing 0.3MP camera, a mic, stereo speakers, a USB 2.0 port, and audio jack. It can handle 1080p HD video playback, and Archos claims the tablet gets up to 8 hours of battery life while playing videos.

Archos first announced plans to launch its Elements line of tablets a few months ago, promising to release 7, 8, and 10 inch models. It looks like the Archos 97 Carbon is just the first to hit the streets.

Archos also sells a line of low-cost tablets under the Arnova brand, but if the Archos 97 Carbon is anything to to by, it looks like the Archos Elements brand will offer more bang for your buck.

Geek deal: $350 off Lenovo IdeaPad Y580 gaming ...

I know we’ve been featuring a lot of PC deals here lately, but do bear with us. With the flood of Ivy Bridge PCs on the market, we’re seeing a lot of cool new products and deals surprisingly early in the product life cycle.

This IdeaPad Y580 shares a lot of similarities with its smaller Y480 brother, which is a very good thing. A premium system, the Y580 comes with top notch standard features like Dolby Home Theater audio, JBL speakers, and a backlit keyboard.

Connectivity is no issue thanks to the two USB 2.0 ports, two USB 3.0 ports, 6-in-1 card reader, and HDMI output. the chassis is stylish, though not over-the-top like a certain extraterrestrial design we know of.

However, our most favorite new addition to the Y Series is Lenovo’s first high res screen since their very first IdeaPad: a 15.6-inch Full HD 1080p LCD. I’ve always felt that a 1366×768 screen on a 15-inch laptop was a huge waste and it’s not something I think I could get used, being a high-res-snob like that. Thankfully Lenovo has finally fixed this and you can get some 1080p goodness to go along with all this power, though the base models still have the standard HD screen.

Speaking of power, all Y580 models come with Intel’s 3rd gen quad-core Core i7-3610QM. This system runs at 2.3GHz normally, but will clock up to 3.3GHz depending on the workload. all those pixels are generated by Nvidia’s GeForce GTX660M 2GB graphics card, another standard feature, which is a healthy step above what you see in most laptops at this price range.

Right now you can snag one of these amazing 1080p machines for just $1149, which includes 8GB of DDR3 RAM (also standard on all Y580′s), a massive 1TB hard drive, and a built-in Blu-ray drive. If you want a little extra oomph, step up to the top of the line model that adds a 32GB mSATA drive on top of everything else for $1239. However, the biggest bargain is undoubtedly the $899 version that loses the Blu-ray drive and 1080p screen, but keeps all the other goodies.

Acer Iconia Tab A100 Now Available From £200

Quite a bargain for a honeycomb tablet

The Acer Iconia Tab A100, a diminutive 7-inch tablet, can now be had from as little as £200 from Argos, a great price for what is essentially a smaller version of the Acer Iconia A500 for substantially less.

It has a dual core Nvidia Tegra 2 processor clocked at 1GHz, 1GB RAM, 8GB onboard storage, a microSD card slot (which means that the onboard memory can be increased to 40GB for around £19), a 7-inch 1,024 by 600 pixels touchscreen, WiFi, USB 2.0, a five megapixel rear facing camera and a two megapixel front facing one, a 1530mAh battery, Bluetooth and an overall weight of 450g.

The fact that it runs Android 3.2 Honeycomb means that it should be upgradable to Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich later in the year.

Argos is also providing with a free carry case for the tablet and oddly enough, the high street retailer sells the non-blue version of the tablet for significantly more.

Acer has also released a cheaper version of the Iconia A500 called the Iconia A200 which surprisingly costs more than the older A500 and doesn’t have a rear camera.

Lenovo IdeaPad U300e ultrabook revealed and ...

There’s a brand new ultrabook this week as Lenovo steps up to the plate once more with its IdeaPad U300e. This laptop has a 13.3-inch display, comes with an Intel Core i5 processor in its most basic build, and has a lovely $959 price tag attached to it. This device’s display has a 1366 x 768 pixel resolution and the unit is also able to connect with HDMI output, Wifi for web, and Bluetooth. Inside you’ll find a 500GB hard drive and a 32GB solid state disk for a total of 532GB of disk space!

This device has 4GB of DDR3 memory to keep you running smooth, a 1.3 megapixel camera on the front for video chat, and a one-piece touchpad front and center for all your tapping purposes. There’s a couple of USB 2.0 ports, classic IdeaPad styling throughout , and a cool gray metal cover coloring for a modern low-profile look.

This ultrabook is priced and shaped to sit between the IdeaPad U260 and the IdeaPad U300S, the former being less expensive and the latter being the highest spec model of the bunch. The U300S is different in its Core i7 processor on the inside beside its 256GB SSD. This SSD is in place instead of the hard drive/SSD combo that the U300e has, and its combination of specs places it at $1499 instead. Choose your destiny!

Microsoft reveals minimum Windows 8 tablet ...

While computers that have been running on Windows 7 would have no problems in migrating over to Windows 8, the same is not going to be the case for tablet devices. Microsoft has announced some limited specification as mandatory for the tablet devices to be able to run on Windows 8.

For a start the tablet must have a minimum of 10 GB free capacity after the new OS has been loaded. it also needs to have UEFI firmware on the device along with WLAN. the device must be Bluetooth 4.0+ LE enabled and have Direct 3D 10 with WDDM 12 driver. Screen should have 5 point multi-touch capability and a minimum resolution of 1366 x 768 pixels. other mandatory requirements are a 720p capable camera, a magnetometer, accelerometer and gyroscope. it should also be able to sense light of 1-30 lux range, while the dynamic range should be in the 5-60k bracket. Microsoft have also mentioned that the tablets must have the power, rotation lock, Windows key and volume up/down buttons on the tablet and must support NFC. it should also have a USB 2.0 port.

This, as per Microsoft, will ensure that all tablets with Windows 8 as the OS will function uniformly. Lastly, Windows 8 will also include the famous CTRL + ALT + DEL replacement for tablet like device that do not include a physical keyboard — Windows Key + Power which will pull one out of uncomfortable and awkward situations during computing.

Acer Iconia Tab A200: Das „dicke Ding“ im ...

„Life is too short to dance with fat chicks!”
